2017 Cadillac Escalade V: Engine and Suspension

The most important thing related the 2017 Cadillac Escalade V lies under the hood. The regular model come with one powertrain option, a 6.2-liter V-8 mill, which deliver 420 horsepower, so in case you want something more heavy, you have to look for somewhere else. Because of that, the car manufacturer has decided to add the 2017 Escalade V model that is rumored to get an amazing supercharged 6.2-liter LT4 V-8, which already work under the hoods of the CTS-V and Corvette Z06. In addition, the first reports said it will deliver around 600 horsepower, but the newest information indicates that the output could be 650 hp and 650 lb-ft of twist, which will make it the most powerful SUV in the US. The engine will be paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel-drive setup, while the SUV also gets Magnetic Ride Control suspension.

Redesign Details

The 2017 Cadillac Escalade V won’t differ too much from the regular model, but is should feature some typical V stuff. The front end will get a redesigned grille and sharper bumper styling, while the hood could have an interesting scoop. The magnificent SUV could become wider and lowered, which will improve handling, but we are absolutely positive that the carmaker prepares some other tweaks like larger wheels and different interior design.

Price and Arrival

The 2017 Cadillac Escalade V might become the most powerful SUV, but it will still have to beat some beast like the Mercedes-AMG’s GL63, Bentley’s new Bentayga or even the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk.  The price is speculated to be around $90,000, while we expect to see the debut at the 2016 New York Auto Show.
