2017 Peugeot 6008 Will Look Like The SXC Concept

The all-new Peugeot 6008 is already spied on winter testing, and we strongly believe that the prototype we saw wears the final design. Of course, the manufacturer may do some additional modifications, but these could be just the small details. Even though completely camouflaged, the testing vehicle shows in what direction would go the exterior styling. The bodywork strongly resembles the SXC Concept, and as a matter of fact, the curves on both sides seem unchanged. This way, the 2017 Peugeot 6008 would look pretty dynamic and stylish, with aggressive front and interesting rear end, especially with this flat roofline and short overhang from the concept. We didn’t see the interior design yet, but the rumors indicate it will have a standard five-seat and an optional seven-seat layout. Peugeot’s technology department works on the “i-Cockpit”, which will likely find the space inside of the 2017 6008 SUV. The new cockpit contains an interesting head-up-display, smaller steering wheel and simpler instrument panel.

2017 Peugeot 6008 Drivetrain and Price

Under the hood, the stylish crossover will offer several options, both diesel and gasoline (probably with 2.0-liter displacement). The 2017 Peugeot 6008 will use an EMP2 platform, just the same as the Citroen Grand C4 Picasso, so there might be a hybrid drivetrain in the works too. In any case, a front-wheel drive setup will be the standard, while you could choose the optional all-wheel drive too.

The first rumors indicate that the all-new Peugeot 6008 could cost around $30,000, but these are just the speculations, so we must wait until the official debut, which will be sometime this year.
