2017 Suzuki S-Cross: New Styling, New Engine, Higher Price


The updated 2017 Suzuki S-Cross has been unveiled ahead of its debut at the upcoming Paris Motor Show. The carmaker decided to replace the current 1.6-liter engine with an all-new option. They have just introduced a turbocharged 1.0-liter three-cylinder mill, which is more powerful and efficient from the 1.6-liter option. As a matter of fact, the new three-pot will be able to deliver around 111 PS and 170 Nm (125 lb-ft), while the fuel economy should be improved for around ten percent. In addition, the 2017 Suzuki SX4 S-Cross will have a 1.4-liter four-cylinder Boosterjet engine that will also feature improved CO2 emissions and fuel consumption. The unit produces 138bhp and 220 Nm (162lb ft), which is more than enough power for this kind vehicle. The interesting crossover will have an oil-burner option too. It will be the current 1.6-liter diesel, which should come with an output of 120 PS and 320 Nm (236 lb-ft). Suzuki’s Allgrip four-wheel drive system will be available as an option.

Styling Changes and Features

The 2017 Suzuki S-Cross has been totally restyled, but if you ask us, the new bodywork doesn’t seem attractive at all.
