2019 Audi Q8 Spied Without Any Camouflage Again

Audi’s new high-riding topper is just one step from its official arrival. At least the newest spy shots indicate that. The all-new 2019 Q8 SUV has been spotted fully exposed a few hours ago. The vehicle is featuring some unexpected styling cues, which will make it more interesting to the public without any doubt.

2019 Audi Q8 revealed

Originally, the 2019 Audi Q8 was scheduled for the end of this year. However, since the automaker isn’t hiding the prototype, we suppose that the awesome SUV may be introduced earlier, perhaps at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show.

As for the testing model, it reveals an interesting and unexpected exterior design, especially in the rear where the four-ringed SUV sports some Urus-based details. On the other hand, the front end of the 2019 Audi Q8 looks pretty much the same as the earlier concept. There is a larger grille and air intakes, while the production-ready lights seem less aggressive. The new SUV will share the platform with the Q7, yet the coupe-styled vehicle significantly differs from Audi’s biggest crossover at the moment. Judging by the shots, the 2019 Q8 will be just a bit wider and slightly lower than the Q7. Inside, the new vanilla model will definitely mirror the new A7 sedan. More precisely, the SUV will share the same technologies and pretty much identical dashboard design.

The U.S.-specs model won’t go below V6 options for sure. More precisely, the base crossover will use a 3.0-liter turbocharged V-6 with 354 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. The mill will come in a pair with an eight-speed auto transmission which supplies all four wheels. Audi will offer a plug-in hybrid model, too. The E-Tron will combine a 3.0-liter turbocharged V-6 with an electric motor. Together, the powertrain will reach 442 hp and 516 lb-ft of twist. The German car manufacturer will add some “hot-chocolate” models after. The SQ8 and perhaps even an RS Q8 will probably rely on a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V-8.

The amazing SUV will be produced at Audi’s plant in Bratislava, Slovakia. The price is unknown at the moment.
