2019 BMW X3 M: Styling and Platform

The regular model is quite attractive, but the high-performance version is really something. Judging by the first spy shots we got, the manufacturer decided to add several tweaks on the exterior styling. In the front, the high-riding monster is getting wide and low face, as well as pretty huge intakes and bold bumper. The hood also seems different, while the large 20-inch wheels look really imposing. Around back, the 2019 BMW X3 M is getting a totally new taillight styling, as well as redesigned rear bumper. It is already quite clear that this high-performance model uses the same CLAR underpinning as the regular new generation X3, but still, we expect to see certain reworks and upgrades. This especially refers to the suspensions, which will be a new double wishbone in the front and multi-link in the rear. The interior is something we haven’t saw yet, but the producer will definitely pack the latest technology, sports seats and modern materials.

2019 BMW X3 M: Engine Specs

BMW’s all “Ms” are popular because of their ultra-powerful engines, so this one won’t lack the horses too. The most likely option will be a 3.0-liter twin-turbo in-line six that will deliver around 425 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque. Allegedly, the drivetrain will be capable to achieve a 0-60 speed-up in 4 seconds, while the top speed stays nailed on 155 mph.
