2019 Cadillac XT3 Will Look Like The Bigger XT5
Though completely wrapped, the 2019 XT3 shows pretty much familiar exterior styling. We are sure it will pick most of the cues from the bigger XT5, which is noticeable on the C-pillar and rear bumper. On the other hand, the nose of Cadillac’s compact crossover should be unique. Okay, the car manufacturer’s signature pentagonal mesh grille will definitely come, but the headlights and front bumper will be completely new. The highly luxurious car will definitely look more dynamic from its larger sibling, but this is expected because of the smaller footprint.
Platforma and Performance
The 2019 Cadillac XT3 will share the D2XX platform with the Chevrolet Equinox, GMC Terrain, and Buick Envision, so we know what to expect. The small SUV will ride on the front-wheel drive and lightweight architecture that will support a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-4 and a 9-speed automatic transmission. The amazing engine will be capable of delivering a whopping 252 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. The option could be mated to an all-wheel drive as well.
Estimated Price and Debut
Cadillac’s all-new luxury compact crossover SUV will fight against some amazing rivals such as German’s Audi Q3, BMW X1, and Mercedes-Benz GLA, as well as Honda’s Acura RDX. This means it will get pretty much the same starting price that will be around $30,000. According to information we have, the 2019 Cadillac XT3 will be introduced next years at 2018 Detroit auto show. This means it will become available next spring or summer.
