2019 Ford F-150 RTR Performance Pickup Is Coming With 600+ Horsepower

Ford’s best-selling nameplate is getting one more trim for the upcoming year. More precisely, the RTR Vehicles are building its own F-150 pickup truck. The company founded by professional drifter Vaughn Gittin Jr previewed the vehicle in concept form at SEMA, but now they are building the production model which is coming in the first quarter of the next year as the 2019 Ford F-150 RTR.

The automaker is still holding back the specs of the performance pickup truck, but we suppose that the production model is not going to be too different from its concept version. Meaning, the “ready to rock” F-150 will most probably be fitted with a 5.0-liter supercharged V-8 that’s capable of delivering over 600 horsepower. The mill will be connected with all four wheels via a 10-speed automatic transmission. Instead of Ford’s regular exhaust tips, the performance truck will use Magna Flow exhaust system.

Just as the concept, the production version of the 2019 Ford F-150 RTR will come coupled with special off-road wheels and 33-inch Nitto Ridge Grappler tires. Thanks to the wheels and due to specially tuned long-travel coilover suspension, the pickup gets lower, wider, and more aggressive stance.

Up front, the RTR-treated F-150 hosts a special grille that’s typical for “ready to rock” models. Plus, it features a pair of RTR’s distinctive lights, as well as a front skid plate and set of all-new and pumped fender flares. Around back, the model shows all-new graphics for its taillights.

Inside, the 2019 Ford F-150 RTR gets a unique leather treatment and a dash plaque with Gittin Jr.’s signature.

The automaker hasn’t set a price of the wild machine so far, but that should happen pretty soon, so stay tuned for updates.
