The testing model came without bed, but with an interesting detail. There is the window sticker for the XLT version of the pickup truck. Let’s get strait: this one isn’t the XLT, but the sticker reveals standard and available features of the mid-ranged model. The list includes plenty of details indeed, but the most interesting of them are standard daytime running lights, halogen headlights, and trailer sway control. The optional list shows 17-inch off-road tires, a Sync 3 infotainment system, a tow package, keyless entry, and a chrome appearance package.   According to the sticker, the 2019 Ranger XLT will also include a 110V outlet inside, automatic climate control, blind-spot monitoring with cross-traffic alert, lane keeping assist and a forward sensing system. The base 2019 Ford Ranger XL will, as you may see, host just a pair of halogen lights and plastic grille, as well as a six-spoke wheel design.

No matter which one U.S.-specs Ranger you choose it’s going to be mated to a turbocharged 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder mill. The automaker hasn’t released anything regarding the output of the pickup truck, but it would be quite interesting option for sure since it has a great potential. The engine, for instance, the delivers 320 hp under the hood of the Mustang, while it also produces 350 hp for the Focus RS. The truck may not have all the power, but the manufacturer did promise a class-leading towing result, so it must have at least 280 lb-ft of twist. The 2019 Ford Ranger will use a 10-speed automatic transmission irrespective of the version.
