2020 Acura MDX SUV Official Photos Leaked

Something is leaking in Acura right now! The Japanese car manufacturer is currently developing a next-generation MDX crossover and we think we know how exactly is going to look the company’s redesigned flagship SUV. Allegedly, the renderings of the 2020 Acura MDX SUV and TLX sedan leaked thanks to the infotainment software in the RDX.

According to AcuraZine.com, the images appeared in the RDX’s software suite. To be more precise, a member of the forum that’s registered as rdx.god was digging pretty deep into the system and founded the images of what appears to be the new sedan and redesigned MDX. While we have no clue whether this is actually the new TLX or not, we are pretty sure that we are looking into the new-gen luxury mid-size crossover. That’s largely thanks to the footprint that fits perfectly to the SUV. Meaning, the redesigned MDX will keep its footprint untouched.

On the other hand, the car will get a significant amount of changes inside and out. While you can see what’s happening from the outside, we’ve managed to find out what’s cooking inside the cabin. According to our insiders, the crossover will not only receive new design elements and softer materials, but also new infotainment and entertainment systems. To be more precise, the 2020 Acura MDX will host the same True Touchpad interface like the RDX. Hopefully, the carmaker will prevent leaks until the next-gen MDX arrives.

Performance-wise, the attractive SUV will keep the same course as its predecessor. Meaning, you can expect the 2020 MDX coupled with an updated 3.5-liter V6, as well as with unchanged hybrid powertrain.

While the next-gen TLX isn’t going to become available another two years, the company’s flagship SUV will most probably be introduced later this year, which means that you can expect the 2020 Acura MDX is dealerships this winter. In addition to the regular and hybrid versions, the MDX will get a sporty Type S version, which has been under development as we speak.
