2020 Chevy Silverado HD Regular Cab Dually Spied Uncovered

We’ve seen Chevrolet’s 2020 Silverado HD in many forms so far, though this would be the first time we see a totally uncovered Regular Cab Dually (Dual Rear Wheel) version. The impressive workhorse was caught testing in Michigan, and based on the looks it appears that the automaker finished practically everything. Interestingly, this is the first time the company offers the two-door dual-wheel rear axle Silverado HD.

This particular model comes in mid-range LT trim level and paired with a 6.6-liter V8 L5P Duramax. The turbo-diesel pumps outs 445 horsepower and 910 pound-feet of torque. The unit is coupled with GM’s 10-speed automatic transmission. Despite the testing model uses the impressive oil-chugging, we are pretty sure that the 2020 Silverado HD Regular Cab Dually is going to be offered with the GM’s all-new 6.6L V8 L8T gasoline engine. This one makes 401 horsepower and 464 pound-feet of torque and uses a 6-speed heavy-duty automatic transmission.

On the outside, the 2020 Chevy Silverado HD Regular Cab Dually gets a specific chromed grille and 17-inch wheels. There will be optional 18-inch alloys as well, while the BedStep feature comes as a standard piece of equipment for every Silverado Heavy-Duty. Of course, the most important detail is this Dual Rear Wheel configuration which will definitely make hauling ability a lot easier.

The automaker hasn’t said how much exactly is going to cost the 2020 Chevy Silverado HD Regular Cab Dually or when it will become available in dealerships, yet taking into account that the pickup truck looks ready for sale, we assume that the interesting option could become available this summer.
