Regardless of the fact that the heavy camouflage says otherwise, the 2021 Jaguar E-Pace is going under the knife just for a minor facelift. More precisely, the small luxury SUV is about to receive pretty much the same updates as the bigger and more popular F-Pace that was caught on camera exactly two months ago. This full-body camouflage may trick you, so you can think that there’s something important going on beneath, but that obviously isn’t the case. In case you don’t see, there are no modifications to the overall shape and proportion of the crossover. Meaning, the 2021 E-Pace will host some revisions to the front fascia, most likely the new bumper and grille, as well as updated headlights. The minor changes continue outback as there are new taillights with slimmer line accents. It’s hard to tell what’s cooking underneath all that camouflage, though the rear bumper appears to carryover, while the taillights seem to be slimmer than earlier.
Interestingly, word on the street is that this new model could borrow certain details from the facelifted XE. More precisely, the stylish crossover will feature a new steering wheel and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, as well as a brand’s new infotainment system, the dubbed Touch Pro Duo. The new cabin will also come fitted with revised switchgear, higher quality materials, and a new shifter, so the quality of the interior should be one a new, higher level.
The British car manufacturer will add a new powertrain under the hood. Reportedly, the 2021 Jaguar E-Pace is going to enrich the existing offer with 286-hp mild-hybrid drivetrain. As for the current 2.0-liter turbo gas unit, the option will continue to develop 246 horsepower and 296 hp, both channeled through the existing 9-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.
Expect to see the revised 2021 Jaguar E-pace towards the second half of 2020.
