2021 Zotye T600 Crossover To Enter US By The End Of 2020

According to a report from Automotive News, the Chinese car brand Zotye will start selling its models in the United States. The first vehicle should arrive by the end of 2020 and it’s going to be a redesigned compact crossover. This 2021 Zotye T600 small SUV has been previewed by a concept a few weeks ago in Shanghai 2019 by the A16 and B21 concepts, so based on them, we think we know what to expect.

The new T600 will most probably come paired with a turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine. The unit will be coupled with a six-speed automatic transmission that will send power to the front or all four wheels. We have no specs of the engine so far, but we think that the output should be approaching 200 horsepower. The other probability is a turbocharged 2.0-liter GDI gasoline engine capable of delivering exactly 200hp. This one comes paired to a seven-speed dual clutch transmission.

While we can’t really know how good is going to be the 2021 Zotye T600 under the skin, we are aware even now that the model is going to look quite attractive. Plus, the compact footprint is popular these days, so the Chinese car manufacturer may actually succeed in its intention.

Of course, they have no intention to stop there. According to Zotye representatives, the company will ensure 100 sale stores by the day the compact SUV arrives in North America and 225 additional stores eventually. If everything goes according to the plan, the Chinese automaker will bring another two models — a midsize crossover and a sedan. Though, it’s not clear when exactly these two could arrive here.
