Mercedes G-Class SUV will be introduced at the upcoming 2017 Frankfurt auto show. However, in case you are expecting the new generation model, we have to disappoint you, because the carmaker plans to bring the final special edition ahead of the redesigned vehicle. More precisely, you are looking at the Mercedes-AMG G63 and G65 Exclusive Editions.
The SUVs are featuring a unique exterior styling with plenty of interesting details. They are painted in Monza Grey Magno, while the model also sports AMG racing stripes and stainless steel skid plates. Everything is spiced up plastic rub strips with dark aluminum inserts and painted tire carrier. 21-inch alloy wheels are standard, but the G63 gets matte black finishes, while the G65 sports ceramic polished treatment.
The Mercedes-AMG G63 and G65 Exclusive Editions have a unique interior as well. The Exclusive package includes the amazing two-tone leather for both seats and dashboard. The seats and door panels sport diamond-quilted accents, while the front passengers are getting heated and ventilated seating options.
The SUVs won’t change anything under the hood. The G63 will use its standard twin-turbo 5.5-liter V8 engine with 571 PS (420 kW) and 760 Nm (560 lb-ft) of torque. The awesome G65 Exclusive Edition will be powered with a twin-turbo 6.0-liter V12. The topper will be able to deliver 630 PS (463 kW) and 1000 Nm (737 lb-ft) of torque.
Since the carmaker plans to offer the SUVs right after debut, they set the prices already. According to Mercedes, the smaller G63 Exclusive Edition will cost €163,125 ($193,458), while the more potent 2018 G65 Exclusive Edition gets a really exclusive price of 287,658 ($341,150).
