Updated 2021 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Shows Interior Changes

Judging by a document posted on Autopareri, the updated 2021 Alfa Romeo Stelvio is getting a range of useful improvements. Even though the current model looks very attractive from the outside, the cabin and features can’t really match the quality of the biggest rivals such as Mercedes and BMW. Luckily for all fans of Alfa Romeo, the automaker realized what has been wrong and enhances pretty much everything.

First of all, the refreshed 2021 Stelvio gets a new infotainment system. More precisely, the manufacturer switched displays. In the place of today’s 6.5-inch display which isn’t even a touchscreen, the smooth and sexy crossover gets an 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system. In addition to the touch abilities and more inches, the information system is also getting better graphics and improved functionality. The automaker will also enable one year of subscription to SiriusXM satellite radio and 365-day access to connected services. The leaked images show a new shifter and switchgear, as well as a more expensive gearshift surround. As you may see, the center console sports a few changes too, while the SUV hosts a new steering wheel. According to the company’s insiders, the 2021 Alfa Romeo Stelvio is going to debut with a semi-autonomous Level 2 system which will match Tesla’s current autopilot. Plus, the good-looking model will feature standard driver assistance systems including forward collision alert. In addition to a few fairly minor updates, the SUV will get a pair of new paints. Yes, from now on, potential buyers will be able to pick Anodized Blue and Lunare White exterior colors.

There’s nothing regarding the performance of the updated 2021 Stelvio, so we assume there will be no changes under the hood. Meaning, the U.S.-spec SUV is going to come paired with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that pumps out 280 hp and 306 lb-ft of torque. The Quadrifoglio beast, on the other hand, continues to burn tires with a 505 hp twin-turbo 2.9-liter V6 engine.
