2016 Nisan Patrol Nismo: Design and Features

It sounds really unreal, but the carmaker made the 2016 Nissan Patrol Nismo specifically for the Middle East market. I have nothing against the Middle East, but the amazing SUV simply must be offered in the North America. The high-performance Nismo-badged SUV is really a piece of work. The exterior styling exudes Nismo’s 370Z, especially in the front end. The crossover features an aggressive front bumper, redesigned and stylish horizontal LED daytime running lights, as well as the huge intake. The grille also features a new design, but the most beautiful details are the red accents round out. In the rear, the mighty crossover gets a Nismo-badged tailgate, some really stylish tweaks and amazing twin-exhaust pipe setup. Except of the sporty look, the 2016 Patrol Nismo comes with aggressive stance, which is achieve with larger 22-inch Rays alloy wheels and notably lowered suspension.

The interior design seems to also have Nismo specifics, which is clearly visible on the dash layout and instrument cluster that has a red rev caunter. However, in contrast to 370Z that looks quite stylish inside, the 2016 Nissan Patrol Nismo packs pretty usual upholstery, as well black-and-white leather on the seats, door panels and center stack. The safety department did really a great job with the SUV. They added a wide range of options, starting from Forward Collision Warning, Intelligent Brake Assist, Distance Control Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Tire Inflation Indicator, Tire Pressure Monitor System, and Active Head Restraints as well as six airbags and some outstanding and useful off-road features like Hill Start Assist and Hill Descent Control.

Boosted Engine

Under the hood, the 2016 Nissan Patrol Nismo has a 5.6-liter V-8 engine, which can be founded in the standard Patrol. However, the performance SUV had been lucky to get a retuned version. The boosted V8 mill delivers 428 horsepower (28 horses more than usual) and 425 lb-ft of torque, and with a new suspension, better handling and improved response, the SUV promises amazing ride.
