2017 Honda UR-V Leaked Ahead of Debut at 2016 Beijing Motor Show

This year Beijing Motor Show will be a host of one pretty interesting vehicle from Honda. The Japanese car manufacturer plans to reveal the all-new crossover SUV, which was introduced last year at the Auto Shanghai as the Concept D. Back then, we saw one quite interesting vehicle, yet now we see something that can be true refreshment of Honda’s reliable but pretty boring crossover SUV lineup. The upcoming car is named the 2017 Honda UR-V, and here are the first photos of the stylish model.

2017 Honda UR-V: Design and Features

It is not something that is comparative, but do you see a difference between the 2017 UR-V and the new Honda Pilot. In contrast to the Pilot’s linear exterior, the bodywork of Honda’s newest mid-size crossover is really fantastic. The car features quite dynamic styling that resembles the Concept D, but not completely. The front end features a massive bumper and chrome grille, while the swept-back headlight design looks really charming. Looking back further, the Honda UR-V sports a flowing roofline with a brilliant aluminum roof-rail detail. We haven’t seen the interior yet, but the new crossover could easily get some cheerful two-tone coloring, as well as youthful appearance of the cabin. The mid-sizer will definitely get a five-seat layout, without a possibility of seven seats setup. When it comes to technology, the carmaker will likely equip the new SUV with everything it have at the moment, so don’t expect anything less from Pilot’s current fitting.

2017 Honda UR-V: Engine Options

According to newest reports, the 2017 UR-V SUV will offer several engines and driving options. The base overseas model will start with a 2.0-liter mill, while the US-version won’t have anything less from a 2.4-liter naturally aspirated engine. Of course, the range-topping model could easily get a 3.5-liter engine, or eventually a hybrid setup sometime later. As for the driving options, the manufacturer will make adjustments to enable normal, comfort, and sport driving of the all-new 2017 Honda UR-V.

Estimated Price

If you believe in rumors, the stylish coupe-like crossover should be priced around $38K. Still, these are just the rumors, so we have to wait a little bit more for the official details.
