2017 Mercedes-Benz GLA: Exterior and Interior Changes

Judging by the new spy shots, there are no some big changes on the exterior styling of the 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLA. This is rather expected because the crossover cam as an all-new model in 2013, so there is really no need for some big changes. Instead, the German car manufacturer will rather redesign the ends, especially the front fascia, which is getting no changes on the grille, but the lightening cluster looks to be completely restyled. In addition, both the front and rear bumpers will be redesigned and more aggressive. The carmaker is also working on the new interior styling, which will feature and updated infotainment system and a larger display, likely the eight-inch screen.

Engine Options and Suspension Improvements

As for the engine options, the refreshed 2017 GLA crossover will likely keep its current options. The base model will use a 2.0-liter four unit with around 208 horsepower. On the other hand, the AMG model will continue with a turbocharged 2.0-liter mill, which will produce 375 horsepower. The compact SUV will have a standard front- and optional all-wheel drive, as well as a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. There is also a big chance to see the dynamic select option with adaptive suspension, so the vehicle should be more agile and better on road.

Price

The elegant crossover should not significantly change the starting price, so you can expect a base model at around $33K.
