2018 Buick Enclave is coming redesigned in early 2017


Buick’s full-size crossover is getting the all-new suit right not. The vehicle is scheduled to arrive sometime next year as the 2018 model, and according to rumors, the car manufacturer plans to do both, redesign and re-engineering. The 2018 Buick Enclave will also change the architecture, so in place of the current Lambda platform, the crossover is going to ride on so called Chi (C1XX) underpinnings.

This platform is underpinning the new generation Acadia and the next generation Chevy Traverse, which gives as a good idea of what to expect from it. The 2018 Buick Enclave will likely become lighter for approximately 300 pounds, which will have the positive influence on SUV’s fuel economy, handling and comfort. Speaking of comfort, the vehicle will keep its 200 inches, but it will get longer wheelbase, so the three-row crossover will definitely provide more space inside. The cab will also sport more premium materials and better technologies. We haven’t saw the prototype yet, but according to reports, the new-gen Enclave will feature more dynamic styling, which will incorporate Buick’s latest design language.

Under the hood, the car manufacturer plans to offer two really amazing options. The base model will get a 3.6-liter V6 engine that delivers 310 horsepower. The high-riding car will also get the powerful e 3.0L Twin-Turbo V6 engine, which could easily develop up to 400 hp. Both options will be matted to an eight-speed automatic transmission, yet you will be able to choose the all-new nine-speed gearbox.

Arrival and Price

The first prototypes of the all-new 2018 Buick Enclave should hit the roads these days, because the car manufacturer plans to introduce its largest crossover in early 2017. The starting price should be close to $30K.
