The current Lexus LX570 is one of a few body-on-frame truck-based SUVs available at the moment. The large high-riding vehicle is an epitome of luxury without any doubt. It’ features a unique, impressive exterior design and the classiest cab we ever saw. Plus, it’s paired with a powerful V8 and full-time four-wheel drive. Toyota’s luxury department is getting ready to introduce a special version, which will be available in in Russia and the Middle East. The SUV will be called 2018 Lexus LX570 Superior in Russia and LX570S in the Middle East, and we have managed to get the premiere photos of the all-new trim.
As you can see, the 2018 Lexus LX570 Superior will look a lot different from the outside. The capable luxury off-roader is featuring a refreshed front-end styling with a new black grille, which sports a totally different mesh design. In addition, there are completely new front and rear bumpers, as well as significantly deeper side sills. The sporty SUV will ride on larger 21-inch alloy wheels which are featuring adaptive shock absorbers and 275/50 tires. Of course, the headlights are LED treated.
There are not too many changes inside. The cab is pretty much the same, except it sports a black ceiling headlining and aluminum pedals, plus new wood options. In the Middle East, the 2018 Lexus 570S will also get a unique rose red interior with black accents, which you won’t find inside of the Russian model.
There will be no changes under the hood of the body-on-frame SUV. The vehicle will still rely on a 5.7-liter V8 engine, which fires out 372hp and 394lb-ft of torque (274kW and 530Nm). Like we said, four-wheel drive is standard here, as it is an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Unfortunately, the 2018 Lexus LX570 Superior won’t be available in North America. However, the car manufacturer might come up with some special trim for U.S. drivers in the coming months.
