2018 Porsche Cayenne Shows Its New Interior

The new generation Porsche Cayenne seems like the most common SUV these days, because we manage to spot the testing models almost every week. However, until now we haven’t see the new interior, yet today we saw in which direction will go the cab redesign. On the other hand, though far away from the production-ready model, the last prototype we catch has nothing new when it compared to the previous testing model of the 2018  Porsche Cayenne.

2018  Porsche Cayenne: Interior and Exterior Details

At this point of development, the next-gen Cayenne seems like it won’t borrow anything from the current model. The car manufacturer will rather do a complete redesign, which involves just several inherited habits. There is the crossover signature tachometer, as well as a completely new and really huge multimedia screen. In addition, what we see here is also a reworked gearshift selector and new climate controls. Generally, the interior and especially the new dash seem to be simplified and easier to use.

As for the exterior redesign, we still have nothing accurate, because the 2018 Porsche Cayenne hides its new face under the skin of the outgoing model. However, since it will take some of the styling cues of the Panamera Sport Turismo concept, the upcoming SUV can’t look bad for sure. As we already announced, the 2018 Cayenne will use the amazing MLB Evo platform, which will improve both the fuel economy and rigidity of the luxurious vehicle. A proper combination of high-strength steel, aluminum and carbon fiber will ease the SUV at least 220 pounds, so the new performance figures must be better than now.

Performance and Price

Speaking of the crossover’s performance, except of the new architecture the car manufacturer will also improve the existing engine lineup. Although with the same engine lineup, the SUV will be powerful and agile, because the drivetrain setups should be completely boosted. Still, since we have no official figures, we won’t speculate about this matter for now. We will just say that you can expect more electrified future for the outstanding crossover.

The price of the new generation Cayenne will definitely grow, but don’t you expect anything drastic. The base model will likely start at $60K, while the furious Turbo S could reach $160K.
