2018 Volvo XC60 Pricing Announced, Starts at $42,495

Volvo announced a starting price of the new generation XC60. The luxury compact crossover will hit the dealerships this fall and in case you want to buy the base model that will cost you $42,495 including the $995 destination charge.

The majority of base models usually include just the necessary equipment, yet not the 2018 Volvo XC60. The Swedish car manufacturer equipped the amazing SUV with a T5 turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that delivers 250 horsepower and standard all-wheel drive. Plus there are standard “Thor’s Hammer” LED headlights, panoramic sunroof, and leather seats. The base kit also includes a 9-inch Sensus Connect infotainment system with Apple Carplay and Android Auto capability, yet in case you want massaging and ventilated leather seats, four-corner air suspension, or premium Bowers & Wilkins sound system, you will have to add some extra money. However, the carmaker hasn’t announced any closer information on how many green bills you have to add for the optional features.

The more powerful 2018 Volvo XC60 T6 starts at $45,895 including the $995 destination charge, and for that money, you will get a turbocharged and supercharged that produces 316 horsepower.

The topper T8 will use a “twin-engine” plug-in hybrid powertrain, which combines a turbocharged and supercharged 4-cylinder with an electric motor. The powertrain is pumping out 400 horsepower and comes paired with an electric all-wheel drive setup. This option starts at $53,895 including the $995 destination charge.

No matter which one model you choose it will be equipped with impressive safety features, which include the amazing Lane Keeping Aid and Oncoming Lane Mitigation.
