2019 Nissan Titan V6 Officially Announced

Nisan’s half-ton pickup truck isn’t too far behind the biggest competitors. Moreover, it offers pretty much everything as the rivals from Ford, Ram, and Chevrolet, including Crew Cab, Single Cab, and King Cab body styles, as well as a range of pretty useful equipment. As a matter of fact, the only thing that the amazing workhorse lacks is a suitable starting engine. Don’t get me wrong, both the oil-burner and V8 engines are simply amazing, but what’s with those that need Titan’s space, yet not as capable engines?

Well, the Japanese car manufacturer appears to have a good solution, which will reportedly be introduced before the end of this year. Yes, ladies and gentleman, the 2019 Nissan Titan V6 is on its way and will hit the U.S. dealerships very soon. And no, these are not some unconfirmed rumors, but the official words of Nissan spokesperson Kevin Raftery for Autoguide.com.

Titan V6: Under The Hood

Kevin hasn’t said anything more precise about the matter, so everything else is more-or-less rumor-based. Still, unless the Japanese car manufacturer isn’t building some “top-secret” all-new V6, we are pretty sure what’s going to power the base 2019 Nissan Titan. This has to be Pathfinder’s 3.5-liter DIG V6. The engine is capable of delivering up to 284 horsepower and 259 pound-feet of torque, which will probably be good enough for needs of the base Titan.

Estimated Price

What’s more important, the 2019 Titan V6 will definitely cost less than other two versions and will be competitive with Blue Oval’s base F150 and Ram’s starting 1500 option. More precisely, today’s cheapest Titan costs exactly $30,030 and we think that the V6 unit can lower down the price to around $27,500. Still, let’s wait for more official words from Nissan to figure out what’s actually cooking beneath the hood of the 2019 Nisan Titan V6.
