2020 Genesis GV80 Leaked Images Reveal The Luxury SUV

Until now, there were some doubts regarding the look of the 2020 Genesis GV80, but now we’ve seen practically everything. As you can see, we have the actual proof of what Korean’s BMW X5 and Mercedes-Benz GLE competitor will look like. The SUV has been caught without any camouflage during a commercial photo-shoot, so in addition to the full frontal view, we’ve got some interior details as well.

The luxury SUV shows a quite impressive cabin that provides standard leather treatment, yet an analog instrument cluster. The list of premium materials also includes real wood, as well as an attractive two-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel. According to our insiders, this analog instrument cluster will be standard for the entry-level 2020 Genesis GV80, while every other trim level gets a fully-digital version. There’s a large infotainment display at the very top and slender air vents with metallic accents. Right below the vents, the SUV gets its second screen surrounded with pretty large knobs (we are not so sure what to do with these buttons, but we assume they are here for climate and the infotainment menu). The 2020 GV80 sports a new rotary shifter with a park button in the center, while the wood console gets a cup-holder.

The U.S.-spec model will come offering two engine options. The tamer-one will be fitted with a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder that produces 300 hp. On the other hand, the more powerful GV80 should be coupled with a 3.5-liter V6 that delivers 375 hp and 390 pound-feet of torque. Outside of the United States, the all-new SUV will also have an oil-burner version that exploits a 3.0-liter straight-six diesel with 274 hp and 434 lb-ft of grunt.
