2020 Ram Power Wagon Caught Camuflaged

With the arrival of the new Ram 1500, the manufacturer has brought a number of important improvements, both mechanic and design. The amazing truck is introduced earlier this year, so the manufacturer can turn to the new task. The new job is actually the redesigned 2020 Ram Power Wagon.

The prototype of the amazing truck has been spotted camouflaged in Detroit a few hours ago while it was checking out its new abilities. The heavy covering prevents us to figure out what exactly is going to be changed. Though, we think that the new Power Wagon is going to pick the best of the new Ram 1500, while some styling cues could be taken from the Ram 1500 Rebel. Still, the carmaker should not jeopardize truck’s distinctive rugged heritage without any doubt, so the Rebel’s aerodynamic lines won’t be as accentuated as usual.

The testing prototype appears to sit a bit higher than usual, while the wheels feature Power Wagon’s specific off-road tires which seem to be 33-inch big. There is a winch integrated into the integrated front bumper. The awesome truck definitely hosts bigger fenders than earlier, while the manufacturer won’t skip the chance to add LED headlights without any doubt.

The cab will probably mirror the Ram 1500. Meaning, the 2020 Power Wagon will feature Uconnect 4 infotainment system. The system will be hooked up to a standard 8.4-inch screen or optional Uconnect 4C NAV infotainment system, depending on money the potential buyers wants to spend. The more expensive 4C NAV is going to be mated to a 12-inch touchscreen which is going to be positioned in the center of the console.

The rear end reveals a carried over exhaust setup. This means that the redesigned Ram Power Wagon could easily keep its current 6.4-liter V8 engine which delivers 410 horsepower and 429 pound-feet of torque. The engine is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission at the moment, and we think that this is not going to change either. The mighty mill is not everything that the pickup truck intends to keep. As far as we see, the vehicle will stick with a live axle both front and rear.

The revamped 2020 Ram Power Wagon will appear sometime next year, likely at the 2019 Detroit Auto Show.
