2020 Cadillac XT6 Three-Row Crossover Spied Inside

The latest prototype of Cadillac’s upcoming XT6 crossover SUV doesn’t really reveal anything new from the outside compared to previous testing models, but things are different inside because our photographers managed to catch a glimpse inside.

Judging by the spy shot, the cabin of the new three-row SUV will definitely mirror the XT5. There is a large display in the center stack and HVAC controls below, as well as pretty much identical gearshift. The control dial of the 2020 Cadillac XT6 is different, though. The feature appears to be borrowed from the XT4. Regarding the dashboard, well, it definitely looks more upscale because the crossover lifted it straight from the CT6. Altogether, the interior looks quite interesting irrespective of the fact that pretty much everything has been “stolen” from the rest of Caddy’s fleet.

The exterior of the 2020 XT6 is still totally coved, but we’ve managed to see just a small part of the grille that’s definitely mesh-treated. This way, the manufacturer’s driver assistance sensors will be able to operate without any problem. SUV’s headlights are fully-LED, quite thin and slim, while the taillights might be vertically positioned. Below, the rear bumper hosts a pair of rectangular exhaust tips.

The all-new three-row crossover most likely comes paired with a 3.6-liter V6 engine, a nine-speed automatic transmission, and all-wheel-drive system. The mill will reportedly develop 310 horsepower, which will be nothing compared to more upscale trims which will use a twin-turbocharged unit that produces around 400 horsepower.

According to the automaker, the 2020 Cadillac XT6 will make its official debut early next year at the 2019 Detroit Auto Show.
