Ford’s Raptor pickup truck has got the most the most brazen and the most expensive customization so far. The vehicle debuts at this year’s SEMA as the 2018 Hennessey VelociRaptor 6×6. The awesome vehicle can be ordered already either directly from Hennessey or through Ford dealerships, but don’t get too excited because the monster costs $295,000. That’s the price for the base model, yet if you want the real deal with 600+ ponies, you have to add $22,500.
The $22,500 brings more power and torque on the table. According to the manufacturer, they will tune Raptor’s 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V-6 to deliver 605 horsepower and 622 lb-ft of torque. Bearing in mind that the base version pumps out “just” 450 horsepower and 510 pound-feet of twist, we have to say that Hennessey did a great job, but how?
Well, they added upgraded turbocharges and modified stainless-steel high-flow exhaust tips. Plus, they enabled better and bigger front intercooler in the front. The 2018 Hennessey VelociRaptor 6×6 features complete ECU tuning and upgraded Brembo brakes. The carmaker hasn’t said how big these six wheels and tires are, but the larger footprint is so obvious. As we see, the wheels are at least 20-inch and they look even better with the unique fenders. The super-workhorse also hosts a special underbody protection and crazier LED lighting. Plus, the interior gets certain upgrades.
