2019 BMW X3 M: Cabin Details Spotted

We have some fresh photos of the upcoming 2019 BMW X3 M. This time the prototype of the high-performance SUV is spied inside as well, so we know what to expect from the “vanilla” model. The cabin sports some promising signs without any doubt. Both, the steering wheels and the gear lever are somehow familiar. That’s because the compact luxury crossovers borrow both of them from the F90 M5 model. You can also see three buttons for chassis settings, as well as an additional button for M Sport Exhaust system.

The semi-covered exterior of the 2019 BMW X3 M hides a more massive front end with a larger, more sculpted bumper and special side skirts. The rear bumper will, on the other hand, host a quad exhaust layout, while bigger bespoke wheels are going to be mated to pretty large blue-colored brake calipers.

BMW will add more power to the 2019 BMW X3 M. The crossover will rely on a high-performance 3.0-liter turbocharged-six. The engine is codenamed S58 and it’s essentially the upgraded version of a familiar B58. However, in contrast to the starting option that is limited to 355 horsepower, the high-end version is going to deliver at least 450 horsepower. Some reports indicate that there might be even more power under the hood (500 ponies), but we believe it’s not going to cross over 460 hp. In any case, the engine will be paired with xDrive all-wheel-drive system via an eight-speed automatic transmission. We believe that the crossover with the powertrain should be capable to achieve 60 mph in just 4 seconds.
