2018 Ford Ranger Black Edition ready for 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show

While we all expect the comeback of the U.S. Ford Ranger, the overseas model is arriving at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show with a limited special edition. More precisely, the T6 Ranger made in Thailand has got a special treatment and will be introduced as the 2018 Ford Ranger Black Edition. The truck will be limited to 2,500 units.

The 2018 Ford Ranger Black Edition is based on the topping Limited trim level. However, the exterior design is additionally embellished with a range of black details such as the black grille and sport bar, as well as dark alloy wheels.

The cab is also featuring a few amazing details. The seats are leather upholstered, while the latest  SYNC 3 infotainment system comes paired with an 8.0-inch touchscreen. Dual-zone electronic climate control and power-folding and heated mirrors are also standard part of the equipment here, while there is a standard Satelite navagation too.

As the 2018 Ford Ranger Black Edition comes with double-cab configuratuon only, there willbbe seats for five people. The car manuacturer has not announced which engines will be available under the hood of the special edition. However, we expet both oil burners – a 2.2-liter Duratorq and 3.2-liter Duratorq five-cylinder.
